GPT-6 Astra and The Scream

As noted by Simon Willison, the creator of the original SVG benchmark, recent models like GPT-6 Astra and Claude Fable 5.1 have gotten really good at generating these.

I'm really fond of this creative way of visualizing how much progress AI models have made since ChatGPT first launched. My variant is to ask a model to generate a famous painting using only SVG. Below is the result for "The Scream" by Edvard Munch. It captures both the progress and the way many people felt after reading about the OpenAI/HuggingFace attacks.
